Physiotherapy

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Whether you're recovering from a sporting injury, struggling with everyday aches and pains, or preparing for or recovering from surgery, our musculoskeletal physiotherapy service is tailored to your individual needs.

Your initial appointment includes a detailed assessment of your injury, followed by a personalised treatment plan designed to help you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible. Treatment may include hands-on treatment, rehabilitation exercises, education, and advice to support your recovery. See below to get an idea of how your first appointment will look.

Follow-up appointments allow us to monitor your progress, adapt your rehabilitation programme as you improve, and ensure you're progressing safely and effectively towards a full recovery and a confident return to the activities that matter most to you.

1
Verbal Assessment

The first thing we will do is sit down and talk about your injury. This step is crucial for us to gain valuable insight into your issue or any concerns you might have. It will also give us a really good idea of what could be going on, before we get hands-on to confirm the issue.

2
Hands-on Assessment

We will then get hands-on and assess the affected area in more detail. This will involve range of motion and strength assessments. We might also use some additional tests to conclude our assessment and insure we are correct with our diagnosis.

3
Treatment

Injuries to structures in the body generally come with several symptoms, whether that be pain, reduced range of motion, loss of sensation, and many more. During the appointment we can provide hands on treatment where appropriate to help reduce and improve your symptoms.

4
Rehabilitation Plan

At Elevate Sports Rehab, we believe that exercise is medicine! That's why you will be provided with a personalised exercise rehabilitation plan to complete until you decide to book another appointment to re assess. Every exercise will be tailored towards your injury to help optimise your recovery and improve your symptoms.
